About the National Technical Officials (NTO) Course:
As weightlifting continues to grow in Singapore, the Singapore Weightlifting Federation (SWF) is expanding its team of National Technical Officials (NTOs). These officials play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of competitions and upholding the standards of the sport.
In a weightlifting competition, Technical Officials include:
- Referees who judge the lifts
- Speakers who direct the flow of the competition
- Marshals who manage the athletes’ attempts
Becoming an NTO allows you to be part of this essential team and contribute to the success of weightlifting competitions.
Registrants Criteria:
- Applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents with a genuine interest and knowledge of Olympic Weightlifting.
- SWF reserves the right to accept or reject applications based on suitability and the needs of the sport.
- SWF may conduct a suitability assessment prior to accepting an application.
