Masters

Introduction

Masters Weightlifting is the sport of Olympic Weightlifting for any persons aged 35 or older. The Singapore Masters Weightlifting committee was established within SWF in 2016, and aims to promote the sport of weightlifting in general and Masters Weightlifting in particular, both in Singapore and in the world. The Singapore Masters Weightlifting will adhere to the rules of SWF and the IWF Masters Rules.

SWF Masters

Any Singapore citizen interested in competing in overseas Masters Weightlifting competitions would be required to be first registered as a SWF Masters (see attached application form) and then to obtain the written approval of SWF prior to registration for any competition.

SELECTION FOR OVERSEAS COMPETITION

The qualification criteria differ from every age and weight categories. Click here to view the respective qualification standards. Achieving the above result does not automatically grant you a place for overseas competition.
