The Singapore Weighlifting Federation (SWF) invites all sports enthusiasts interested to learn more about the sport of Weightlifting, to join our “Introduction To Weightlifting” workshops.
Though competitive on its own as an Olympic sport, Weightlifting and its training methods can also be beneficial to all athletes looking to improve their performance levels in their respective sports. The workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of the 2 lifts – the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk. Through hands-on learning, you will be taught the methods and techniques of the 2 lifts and the technical aspects of what constitutes a “good lift”.
